ULRICH SCHNAUSS

"Ulrich Schnauss hails from the German coastal town of Kiel.

He has released music under various pseudonyms including View To The Future, Ethereal 77, Hexaquart, as well as 3 albums so far under his own name.

His unique sound has elements of melodic electronica and grungy shoegaze reverb-laden tones, interspersed with catchy hooks.

He has made a successful name for himself on the remix circuit, remixing the likes of Depeche Mode, Coldplay and Johannes Schmoelling (formerly of Tangerine Dream) to notable effect.

He has played keys for a number of bands including Longview and currently Engineers. Ulrich has toured extensively with his first three albums ('Far Away Trains Passing By', 'A Strangely Isolated Place' and 'Goodbye'), including Europe, USA and Japan.

He is currently working on his fourth solo CD and hopes to debut new material from that forthcoming release at the DEAF gig in October.

This gig will also be one of his few live appearances in 2009."

Electrocelt
is the brain child of Geoff Keogh, Electro musician and die hard Tangerine Dream fan and member of the world renowned "Barmy Army", Tangerine Dream, die hard fan base, a collection of fans who travel all over the world to see their favourite artist perform.

From this, Electrocelt decided it was time to do an recording of his own and put it out there for the world to embrace.

What happened next was legendary. From a trip to Peter Gabriel’s Realworld to a journey that gathered the full support of the" Barmy Army "and drew the eyes of some of the biggest stars of electronic music to watch the stage.

Electrocelt
is ready for his first offical release in late September with the Remixed version of Digital Fields followed by an offical release of the Album @ the Gig in October .ElectroCelt will play his first gig ever supporting one of his biggest idols Ulrich Schnauss .

This is the stuff of legends .
